I primarily work in individual therapy for young adults through middle age and beyond. I keep to a smaller number of couples and families, and occasionally offer groups. Therapy for therapists and clinical supervision is also available here. I help people suffering from trauma, depression, anxiety, paranoia, low self-esteem, and existential dread. My default format is in-person but I can easily pivot to video or over-the-phone appointment.
I am lucky I get to work with a diverse population with varying treatment concerns. My office is a safe, affirming space and welcome to anyone who wants to be there. I do have more extensive experience working with certain groups, so if you are left-brained, court-impacted, a musician, LGBTQ, a descendant of Holocaust survivors, a graduate student, a coder, have had trouble “fitting in” throughout your life, it might make you feel extra at-home to know I am familiar with the things that come with the territory. Recently I’ve had successful treatment outcomes for people trying to disentangle from their phones and social media.
My practice is intentionally small and independent so that I can give my best to each client. I am not in-network with any insurance plans and my fee is 250 for 45-minute sessions. If cost is prohibitive to treatment, please tell me so. We can investigate whether you have any out-of-network insurance benefits that you didn’t know about, discuss a sliding scale fee, or find a trusted referral alternative.
