Psychotherapy at its core is all about talking while someone deeply listens and understands. There are many styles of therapy out there, but I favor approachable, consistent rap sessions in a safe space. When we talk with an attuned psychotherapist, little by little, we can become conscious of those things in our subconsciousness that are causing us to feel anxious, depressed, and ashamed.
Without a formula, homework, or expectations to meet goals on any timetable, you can feel comfortable to unburden your troubles and feel supported, relieved and connected. That connection is a very important piece of the therapy, so I’m glad you’re here to see if my style and approach would be something you can vibe with.
