My undergraduate degree is in History from Hunter College, and my Master of Social Work in Advanced Clinical Practice is also from Hunter College. I have postgraduate training in psychoanalytic theory, and I am licensed to practice in New York and New Jersey. I have over a decade of experience in the mental health field. 

Before (and during, and after) completing my clinical social work training, I was a longtime server in some beloved NYC restaurants. I am a mom to a small kid, human to two cats, and a birding enthusiast. Sometimes it helps to know if you and your therapist have some shared lived experiences and interests, so I share this in case you desire commonality about parenting, human-animal bonds and a love for ecology and biodiversity, with your therapist.
